The Avenues Nursery with Kids Club Privacy Policy

Our commitment to privacy

Your privacy is important to us. To better protect your privacy we provide this notice explaining our online information practices and the choices you can make about the way your information is collected and used. To make this notice easy to find, we make it available right across the website and at every point where personally identifiable information may be requested.

The Information We Collect:

This notice applies to all information collected or submitted on this website. On some pages, you can make information requests and register your child’s personal details for potential enrolment at the nursery. The types of personal information collected at these pages are:

First/Last Name
Email Address
Phone Number

The Information We DON’T Collect:

We do not collect any kind of payment information such as credit or debit card details. There is no ‘e-commerce’ facility on our website and as such we have no need to store any payment and/or financial details at all.

The Way We Use Information:

We use the information you provide about yourself and your child when you contact us through the website purely in the interests of identifying you and your child and to ensure that your child’s individual needs are met. We do not share any of this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to comply with the law.

We may keep your email address on record so that we can contact you regarding operational notices relating to the running of the nursery, news, important announcements or any issues relating specifically to your child.
Your email address is never shared with any other party, under any circumstances.

We use non-identifying and aggregate information to better design our website and to manage our search engine rankings, for example to maintain or improve our position in Google. For example, we may glean that a certain percentage of users visited the website after searching for a particular keyword phrase or we may be able to tell where visitors to our website were directed from when coming to us, but this is standard statistical data, made available to all website owners by commercial website hosting companies and the vast majority of this data is anonymous. However, should we learn anything specific about visitors to our website where that data would potentially allow us to identify any individual user, we would not disclose anything that could be used to identify those individuals.

Finally, we never use or share the personally identifiable information provided to us online in ways unrelated to the ones described above without also providing you an opportunity to opt-out or otherwise prohibit such unrelated uses.

Our Commitment To Data Security

To prevent unauthorised access, any information we collect online is only stored offline. This means that even if the website was compromised (hacked), no personal information would be at risk.

Our Commitment To Children’s Privacy

Protecting the privacy of the very young is especially important. For that reason, we do not store in an online database any name, address, telephone or email information relating to any child.

How You Can Access Or Correct Your Information

You can access all your personally identifiable information that we collect online and maintain by calling us or sending us an email. We use this procedure to better safeguard your information.

You can correct factual errors in your personally identifiable information by sending us a request that credibly shows error.

To protect your privacy and security, we will also take reasonable steps to verify your identity before granting access or making corrections.
